I just got done reading Eclipse (Twilight, Book 3) by Stephenie Meyer. The author has a great website .
I always spend the third book of a trilogy worrying about the grand finale. Then, when I get what I want, I still want more. Such is the case for Eclipse. The climax involving all the vampire and werewolf players exceeded my expectation and I was thrilled that the love triangle was final resolved. By the end I was thrilled to find Bella finally beginning to evolve emotionally and looking forward to a possible "next round" of trilogies with Bella in a more mature role. I really enjoy following Bella, Edward, Jake, and the other characters as the move through life. Meyer's writing is very engaging. I'll read anything she writes. She know teen readers. :-)
I'm also in the middle of Eclipse (I haven't read far enough for the love triangle to be fully resolved), and can recommend it as an excellent read! I read somewhere (I think on Meyer's site) that there are more books coming out that will be told from other characters' perspectives--possibly Jacob's. That will be an interesting twist. I've always liked Jacob's easygoing style, and I think he would make a fun narrator to read.
They did parallel stories and viewpoints for Ender's Game. I think it would be cool to follow Jacob. I also would like to see back stories on some of the Cullin's family members. We know a little about them, but they each have an interesting story.
